Gear Review – A Closer Look At The DW 3000 Hi-Hat Stand

Recently we equipped all our rehearsal rooms with DW 3000 hi-hat stands and there is a good reason why. DW is known for being one of the top drum companies in the world and are known for their durable hardware. They also pair well with our PDP drum kits, as PDP kits are a line of drums made by DW. When using DW gear there is always that sense of quality and durability, making it such a reliable name. They has a wide range of hardware to choose from, and the 3000 level is incredibly well built and has a very smooth feel to it while playing.

The two-leg stands provide a lot more space around the drummer’s feet, and this also allows more room for a double kick pedal to easily be setup without the third hi-hat leg getting in the way. Overall, the DW 3000 hit-hat stand is a really comfortable well-built piece of hardware. We would recommend this stand (the whole 3000-series is recommended too – we also have DW 3000 snare stands in all our rooms) to any drummer looking for a quality piece of hardware at a reasonable price. As an added bonus, it also looks really sharp!
